SPACES AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME, first served basis. We limit the number of food vendors and there will be no duplication of food types. Along with your application, you must submit a proposed itemized list of menu offerings. Gates open on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Noon for food booth(s) set up. All vendors must be set up and operating no later than Saturday, May 19th at 11:00 am (when gates open to the public). Vendors must vacate Fairgrounds by 8:00 pm on Sunday, May 20th.

A two-day minimum is required (Saturday and Sunday) at $400.00 total per space, due in advance. The Fairgrounds receives $200.00 of the $400.00 rental amount which is included in the total. All food vendors must provide proof of insurance and a copy of their current Monterey County Health Permit along with this application, submitted in advance. Any necessary items for booth set up, including tables and chairs, are the responsibility of the vendor.

If you do not have insurance, you can purchase special event insurance (one-time use only) from Monterey Rock and Rod Festival for $45.00 (see below). If you have insurance, you must provide proof before April 15th. After April 15th, you will be required to purchase necessary insurance through the Monterey Rock & Rod Festival (no exceptions).
