THIS YEARS car and motorcycle show and classic rock festival features hundreds of 1975 and older classics, hot rods, street rods, muscle cars, trucks, motorcycles, and customs. The show will be located in the Salinas and King City Rooms and throughout the lawn and oak tree studded areas of the Monterey County Fairgrounds. On hand there will be a variety of food and merchandise vendors.

The event kicks off Friday Evening with a Sock Hop featuring live 50s and 60s style rock & roll which will be held in the Monterey Room at the Fairgrounds beginning at 6:00pm. There will be awards presented for Best Costume and for Best Dancers.

On Saturday the car show commences and music will rock the Local’s Stage all day with a variety of rock and roll bands. Saturday Evening will feature headliners Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals as well as Terry Sylvester formerly of the Hollies.

Sunday will be a continuation of the car show and more live rock & roll music along with the awards presentations on the Local’s Stage. All proceeds to benefit Gateway Center of Monterey County, Inc., providing the developmentally disabled with a stimulating environment where they can achieve their goals with safety and dignity. Gateway Center is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit corporation.
