MONTEREY ROCK & ROD FESTIVAL is proud to continue its “Best of the West” judged competition. These are limited to the top 20 cars/trucks accepted and all motorcycles accepted. Entries will be displayed inside the King City and Salinas Rooms. Full, lighted displays are encouraged.

How do I get selected?

First, you must register your car or truck as an indoor car or register your motorcycle as a Best of the West competitor.

Second, you must submit with your registration, photos and other pertinent information that will assist the committee in making their selections for these competitions.

Third, you will be notified whether or not you have qualified for the “Best of the West” competition well in advance, so you will have ample time to prepare.

The Top Award winners in each category (Custom Car, Classic Car, Custom Motorcycle, or Classic Motorcycle) will receive a $500 cash prize along with a “Best of the West” Award. All entrants in each category will receive Awards of Excellence.
